A small community on the Twiggs and Wilkinson line, with more acreage than rooftops. Most of the work out here is land, not lawns.
Danville is a small place straddling the line between Twiggs and Wilkinson counties, southeast of Macon in country that's mostly timber, farm and rural acreage. There isn't much in the way of subdivision here — properties run to acres rather than lots, and the tree line is usually a lot closer than the nearest neighbor.
That changes what people call us for. Rural acreage work is a different list from in-town removals: fence lines that have grown up until the wire is inside the trees, pasture edges creeping in, driveways and field access blocked by whatever came down last spring, and lots that need opening back up. When a tree does come down out here it tends to land on a fence or across a track rather than on a roof.
JC's Tree & Stump Removal covers Danville out of Macon, roughly forty-five minutes west. Locally owned since January 2022, BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, and JC Henry runs the jobs himself. Written price up front, everything hauled off rather than piled at the back of the property. Call or text 478-972-8036.

"JC and his team took down 60 or so dead and dying eastern cedar trees between 30 and 50 feet tall. They cut, hauled and cleaned up all of the trees and under-brush in one day. I have used JC before and both times the work was excellent and his fees were very reasonable. He is my tree guy!!"

"The clean up after 7 tree removals was outstanding! It looked like there were never any trees there."

"JC and his crew did a great job getting the massive tree that fell during the storm. They were very helpful and worked hard to make sure myself and my neighbor were happy with the end results, and all of my property — trailers and fence — that were buried by the tree were protected while they worked. Will use JC's Tree Service again!"

Based about forty-five minutes west in Macon, working Danville, Jeffersonville, Irwinton, Cochran and the surrounding Twiggs and Wilkinson County area.
What property owners around Danville ask us most.
Rural work is a real part of what we do, not something we take reluctantly. Pasture, fence lines, field access, wooded lots and acreage clearing are normal jobs. Tell us roughly what's there and how to get a truck to it.
It's priced by the foot after we walk it, and the two things that move the number are how wide you want it cleared and whether trees have grown into the wire. Eight to ten feet gives you room to get a bush hog down it later, which is what keeps it clear.
Haul it off. We don't leave burn piles at the back of a property for you to deal with, and on-site burning brings permits and conditions into it. If you want rounds kept for firewood, say so and we'll stack them.
Danville is about forty-five minutes from us and well within the area we work. Call with the address and you'll get a straight answer.
