One of the oldest settlements in this part of Georgia, out on the western edge of Monroe County.
Culloden sits on the western side of Monroe County, near the Upson line, and it's been there a long time — one of the earlier settlements in this part of middle Georgia, with a small historic district and a handful of streets surrounded by farm and timber country.
Out here it's acreage work more than yard work. Properties run large, the woods are close, and the jobs tend to be the rural list: fence lines swallowed by privet and briars, pasture edges creeping in, driveways and tracks blocked, and lots that need opening back up. The ground is Piedmont clay on rolling terrain, which means saturated soil and slope working together on any tree that's already leaning.
JC's Tree & Stump Removal covers Culloden out of Macon, roughly forty minutes east. Locally owned since January 2022, BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, and JC Henry runs the jobs himself. Written price before anything starts, everything hauled off the property rather than piled at the back. 478-972-8036.

"JC and his crew did a great job getting the massive tree that fell during the storm. They were very helpful and worked hard to make sure myself and my neighbor were happy with the end results, and all of my property — trailers and fence — that were buried by the tree were protected while they worked. Will use JC's Tree Service again!"

Based forty minutes east in Macon, working Culloden, Forsyth, Roberta, Musella and the surrounding Monroe and Crawford County area.
What property owners around Culloden ask us most.
We walk the line, agree a width, and clear brush, saplings and vines back from both sides as far as you're permitted. Where trees have grown around the wire, that stretch needs the tree out and the wire cut free carefully — buried wire ruins a chain instantly. Eight to ten feet gives you room to bush hog it later.
Yes, and we'll say so plainly. Privet, greenbrier and honeysuckle all regenerate from roots and cut stumps. Keeping it down means mowing it periodically or having the stumps treated by someone licensed for herbicide work, which isn't us.
Yes, about forty minutes from Macon. Western Monroe and Crawford County are within our working area.
Yes, and we try to move quickly on those — being unable to get a vehicle in or out matters even when it isn't strictly an emergency.
